101A. In order to encourage the study of Sanitary Science, officers in the Public Works, Police, Medical and Sanitary Departments will on the recommendation of the head of their Department be entitled when on leave to attend lectures on the Hygiene of the Tropics given at the London School of Tropical Medicine. The fees for a course of lectures on this subject will be paid by the Crown Agents upon the production of a Certificate from the School Authorities that the course has been properly attended and that any examination held in connection therewith has been passed by the candidate.
